Store Person

PowerPlus Lighting and Electrical Suppliers Griffith are seeking a Store Person fulltime to join our team in the Griffith store.

Job Summary

The Store Person duties required include receival, storing and packing of goods, allocating and retrieving goods from specific warehouse areas, periodic stock checks, pallet maintenance, forklift driving, manual strapping, and packing, and picking orders.

This position requires maintaining an on-time schedule and a cordial, professional relationship with our customers and staff at various locations. The ability to work in a fast–paced environment, to problem solve, and be flexible with attention to detail are important qualities to be successful in this position. Safe driving and maintaining a positive image of the company are mandatory.

Must have

  • Current Drivers Licence
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work well with others and individually with attention to detail.
  • Forklift Licence and operational experience
  • Warehousing experience
  • High interest and/or knowledge in the electrical field

Electrical Wholesale Sales/Store Person

An established electrical wholesaler requires a person with sales and store experience to work in our Leeton store, engaging with contractors in the supply of domestic and commercial products.

Job Summary

A locally owned electrical wholesale/retail company in Leeton NSW with a small team reaching a large area through two locations is seeking an additional team member to start as soon as possible.

As a new team member, you will be jointly responsible for counter retail and wholesale sales offered with an exceptionally high level of customer service.

The combined sales and store duties include but are not limited to receival, periodic stock checks, picking orders, customer deliveries, sale of both domestic and commercial electrical products and associated administration.

This position requires maintaining an on-time schedule and a cordial, professional relationship with our customers and staff. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem-solve, and be flexible with attention to detail are important qualities to be successful in this position. Safe driving and maintaining a positive image of the company are mandatory.

Must have;

  • Sales and store experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Driver’s license

Advantage given to applicants with;

  • Forklift license with operational experience
  • Retail admin experience
